ABOUT THE FALSE INSISTENCE FROM THE GROUP “NCPCOG” THAT DENIES HEAVENLY MOTHER – 1 (WMSCOG)

The NCPCOG distorts the teachings of Father Ahnsahnghong and denies Heavenly Mother(Identity of NCPCOG). In the hope that no one will be misled by this organization, let us reveal their identity.

NCPCOG’s false insistence

They lie as follows: Through the book “The New Jerusalem and the Bride: Explanation on Women’s Veil” published in October 1983, Father Ahnsahnghong Himself clarified that there is no Heavenly Mother. So, Heavenly Mother does not exist and the bride refers to the saints.

Countermeasure
1. They deceive people by using only fragmentary contents

To deceive people who do not know the history of our Church of God, they omit explanation about the whole situation by telling one part of it and distorting the true meaning of the teachings of Father Ahnsahnghong. Let us find out how absurd and obstinate their insistence is with the following examples.

e.g. 1) Jesus once told His disciples not to tell anyone that He was the Christ (Mt 16:20). Then, should we never let the world know that Jesus is the Christ? Is it okay to teach people that we must not testify that Jesus is Christ because He did not want the world to know that He is the Christ, by quoting only those words of Jesus? No way! After saying that, Jesus asked His disciples to be His witnesses in Samaria and to the ends of the earth (Ac 1:8).

e.g. 2) Jesus once said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan!” (Mt 16:23). Then, is that okay to say that we should never trust Peter’s words because Jesus called him Satan, by quoting those words of Jesus? Did Jesus mean it by saying that? No way! After saying that, Jesus told Peter to take care of His sheep (Jn 21: 15-17). Now they only take out a part of Father’s words which were given in a special situation, and make their insistence which totally ignores all the teaching that Father gave to us after that.

2. The purpose of Father Ahnsahnghong who published the book, “The New Jerusalem and the Bride: Explanation on Women’s Veil”

It is true that Father published the book. However, in order to understand the meaning of the book correctly, we need to know about the situation of that time and the reason why Father published the book. Because they ignore these things and just insist on the text of the book, their insistence is unreasonable like those in the aforementioned examples.

In the year 1983, it was before Father made known to us the truth of Heavenly Mother. However, a woman named Eom △△ stole a peek into Father’s book and impersonated the bride, Heavenly Mother. She even tried to change the truth, insisting that women did not need to cover their heads with veils; she stirred up trouble in the Church.

So, Father wrote the book and distributed its copies to the Church members in order to judge Eom △△ and her followers, so that the members would not be deceived by falsehood. And Father also gave sermons in the same context with the book. (Now they make bad use of the sermon tapes of that time).

Do you know what Father did after He settled the matter of Eom △△? He collected all the copies of the book.
This shows that Father did not want us to read the book anymore.
However, they stubbornly insist on the text of the book and ignore Father’s will. It is no different from sticking to the words of Jesus when He called Peter Satan and insisting that Peter is Satan.

When an enemy comes, people in the castle close their fortress gate completely and then open it again after defeating the enemy. Father did the same thing at that time. He thoroughly closed the door to the truth about Heavenly Mother in 1983 so that He could drive away the hindrance of the devil. After that, in the year 1984 He opened the door to the truth of Heavenly Mother again and testified about Her to us.

3. About the false insistence that Father Ahnsahnghong said that there was no Heavenly Mother

Some people say that Father did not say that Heavenly Mother had not yet appeared but that there was no Heavenly Mother, so they cannot believe in Heavenly Mother.

Their thoughts are very wrong.
In the age of the Father, God said, “There is no Savior except Jehovah” (Isa 43:11). The words, “But there will appear the Savior with another name later,” were not attached as the prior condition. Then, should we think that there will not be another Savior other than Jehovah? If we think like this, we cannot believe in Jesus but reject Him. How wrong is this kind of thinking!

Therefore, even though Father said that there was no Heavenly Mother in that special situation, we must believe the testimony about Heavenly Mother, which He left later through the Bible and His deeds.

4. Testimonies about Heavenly Mother, which Father Ahnsahnghong Himself left

From the beginning, Father recorded that Heavenly Mother would appear after Him in the book “Unsealing the Seven Thunders” (published in 1955); and in the last, He also recorded that the Bride would lead the saints together with Father the Holy Spirit in the book “The Mystery of God and the Spring of the Water of Life” (published in 1980). (Refer to the supplementary explanation 2.)

However, the time before 1984 was not the time for Heavenly Mother to appear, so Father waited.
The Bible says, “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven” (Ecc 3:1), and “In its time I will do this swiftly” (Isa 60:22). When Father recorded about one person who would appear after Him, He said, “When the time comes, she will appear,” in the preface of the book “Unsealing the Seven Thunders.”

However, before the appointed time came, Eom △△ stole a peek into Father’s book and dared to pass herself off as Heavenly Mother. If Father Ahnsahnghong had not written about Heavenly Mother, no trouble would have been caused by Eom △△ at all.
In other words, the fact that there was a woman like Eom △△ proves that Father Ahnsahnghong had already written about Heavenly Mother.

Some people rebuke our Church simply because we use the same verses about Heavenly Mother as those that Eom △△ used, but they are truly foolish.
Why do you think the verses are the same? It is because Eom △△ stole a peek into Father’s words.

The reason Father Ahnsahnghong said that there was no Heavenly Mother in 1983 was because He wanted to keep His children from being deceived by the fake bride, Eom △△, and because it was not the time to reveal the true bride.
However, as the appointed time came, Father clearly testified about Heavenly Mother.

5. The Passover of the year 1984, when Father made known to us about Heavenly Mother

The Passover of the year 1984, one year before Father Ahnsahnghong ascended to heaven, was very special.
For a long time, Father had celebrated the Passover in Busan. In 1984, however, He said that He would keep the Passover in Seoul where Mother was residing.
He told His disciples to rent a wedding hall to hold the Passover assembly and to light two candles, (a blue one and a red one, which are used in a wedding ceremony in Korea.)

Why do you think Father did so?
It was because He wanted to let us know our Mother, the bride of the heavenly wedding banquet.

To make it clear that the bride of the Holy Spirit [Second Coming Christ] is our Heavenly Mother, Father Ahnsahnghong had a picture taken with Heavenly Mother on May 18, 1984, wearing wedding garments for bride and bridegroom, and left the picture to us as evidence. At the special general assembly held in January 1985, Father said that the place where Heavenly Mother as residing would be the Head Office from then on. He also said that everything would go well if we listen to Mother.

Like this, Father Himself testified about Heavenly Mother in various ways. Nevertheless, the NCPCOG denies and rejects all the evidence that Heavenly Father left, while claiming to believe in Father Ahnsahnghong. How can they say that they believe in Father Ahnsahnghong? Since they keep talking about Father’s teaching while denying His testimonies, it is truly detestable.

6. The reason the NCPCOG stands against God

Why does the NCPCOG hinder the truth and stand against God?
There are various reasons, but one of them is because they were not with Father Ahnsahnghong to the end.

Let us think of the time of Jesus’ first coming. Do you think those who neither were with Jesus nor joined the Passover could believe that Passover bread and wine was Jesus’ flesh and blood and preach that fact to the world? No way! Only the disciples, who followed Jesus and were with Him to the end, were able to learn the secret of eternal life.

It is the same at His second coming. Father Ahnsahnghong revealed the glory of Heavenly Mother while keeping His last Passover in 1984, and taught the truth about Heavenly Mother to His disciples from then on. He also left much evidence such as photos so that no one could deny it. (Refer to the supplementary explanation 3).

However, what about those who were not with Father Ahnsahnghong to the end? They neither listened nor trusted Father’s testimony about Mother, which Father gave us from the time of His last Passover at the wedding hall until He left this world. That’s why they absurdly insist that, distorting Father’s true will and stubbornly uttering the book which Father withdrew already.

 <Supplementary Explanation >

1. The purpose of Father Ahnsahnghong who published the book, “The New Jerusalem and the Bride: Explanation on Women’s Veil”

Just by reading the preface, we can understand the situation of that time and why Father published the book.- From the preface of the book “The New Jerusalem and the Bride: Explanation on Women’s Veil” -This book is to clarify the mistakes of the books that Eom △△ published, and to testify briefly about the unchangeable truth of the Church of God . . . Women like Eom △△ appeared and caused big problems with their impertinent thoughts. How can they expect to be forgiven? . . . From now on, let us find the mistakes one by one in the books that Eom △△ wrote.

From the preface of the book, Father mentioned the name of a person, Eom Soo-in. Just by seeing this, we can easily understand that the book was written only to settle the problem of that time.

2. The testimonies about Heavenly Mother, which Father Ahnsahnghong left

It is written in the preface of the book “Unsealing the Seven Thunders” (1955), “. . . the world was in the dark of night. He shone His light throughout the four corners of the world, but there was no one to receive the light, so finally it was shone on me. And there is one more person. She is still a child. She is to appear after me. When the time comes, she will appear.”

Through this, Father let us know about Himself and Heavenly Mother—two persons who received the light when the whole world was in the dark. Because Heavenly Mother was a child in the year 1955, Father expressed Her as “a child” and also prophesied that She would appear after Him when the time came. True to His words, Father let us know about Heavenly Mother around the time He left this world.

Just as Eve appeared after Adam fell into a deep sleep, Father who came as the last Adam let the glory of Heavenly Mother be revealed after He left this world.

And in chapter 24 of the book “The Mystery of God and the Spring of the Water of Life” (1980), it is written as follows: “The last Adam and Eve represent the Spirit and the Bride. On the last day, the Spirit and the Bride will appear and lead all the animals [the Gentiles].”
Father testified that the Holy Spirit [Second Coming Christ] and the Bride will appear in the last days as the reality of Adam and Eve and lead all animals [Gentiles]. Here, what are the saints represented as? They are represented as “all animals,” not Eve [Bride]. The Bible says that Eve rules over all animals together with Adam (Ge 1:26-28).

Through these words, Father testified about Heavenly Mother, the Savior who would lead the saints after Him.

3. The Meaning of a “child” in the preface of the book “Unsealing the Seven Thunders”

To deny Heavenly Mother by any means, they even insist that the “child” in the preface of the book “Unsealing the Seven Thunders” also refers to the church that was like a child at that time. However, that is not what it means at all.

First, Father said, “There is one more person. She is to appear after me.”
How many people are there? Father talked about just one person. If He talked about church, He should not have talked about one person but many.

Second, was there a church established by Father Ahnsahnghong at that time, or not? No, there was not. The book, “Unsealing the Seven Thunders,” was published in 1955. At that time, our Church did not even exist and Father preached while belonging to the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Father withdrew from the SDA Church in 1962 and formally proclaimed the establishment of the Church of God in 1964. That is, the Church of God was not in the state of a child in 1955; it was not even born at that time. Then, how can they say that the Church of God was like a child in 1955?

Third, Father said, “One more person will appear after me when the time comes.” Then, did the Church appear “after” Father? No, it did not. After establishing the Church of God in 1964, Father was with the Church for 21 years until 1985. Can they still insist that it is the Church that will appear after Father in due time?

Fourth, in the preface of the book, it is written that there was no one who could receive light, so the light finally was shone on Father Ahnsahnghong and one more person. It means that just two persons in the whole world—Father Ahnsahnghong and the “one more person” who was a child at that time—received the light. So, the one more person must be the Savior who can lead all the souls in darkness to the light just as Father Ahnsahnghong did. Therefore, their insistence is wrong.

- From the preface of the book, “Unsealing the Seven Thunders” - “I neither speak these words of my own accord, nor did I learn them from others, but it was only our Lord Jesus Christ who shone the light on me. When He gave the light to me, the world was in the dark of night. He shone His light throughout the four corners of the world, but there was no one to receive the light, so finally it was shone on me. And there is one more person. She is still a child. She is to appear after me. When the time comes, she will appear.”

4. Father Ahnsahnghong’s sermons testifying about Heavenly Mother

We can find clear evidence not only from photos but also from Father’s sermons. In His sermon titled “Walking With God” that He began with the words, “I have set you an example (Jn 13:13-15),” Father wrote as follows: “Elisha followed Elijah, Joshua followed Moses, Peter followed Jesus, and I follow Mother.” By this, Father taught us that we, too, must follow Mother.

Therefore, we are to believe in and follow Heavenly Mother whom Father Ahnsahnghong Himself testified as the Bride.

5. Timeline

6. Our attitude toward the testimonies that Father Ahnsahnghong left

Some people even ask our members if they have heard Father’s words directly or seen His words with their own eyes.

If you are asked this question, it is good to ask them back if they have ever heard a single word of Jesus directly from Him and saw His work that He did 2,000 years ago. Is there any Christian in this age who has directly heard the words of Jesus that He said 2,000 years ago? No.
They just believe the testimonies of Jesus’ disciples who were with Him. It is the same in the age of the Holy Spirit.

Present Status and Identity of NCPCOG

False insistence 2: Three chapters from the book “The Mystery of God and the Spring of the Water of Life” were taken out: “Restoration of Jerusalem and the prophecy of the 40 years,” “Bring the truth into light through church history books,” and “I will send Elijah.”

False insistence 3: The word “Elohim” was not used when Father was in this world. The general pastor of the Church of God made it.

False insistence 4: Father Ahnsahnghong is Christ who came a second time. However, His name was not given to us as the Savior’s name, so we should pray in the name of Jesus even now. (The NCPCOG’s first church in Busan did not acknowledge Father as Christ who came a second time, but regarded Him as just a prophet. However, now they claim to acknowledge Father as Christ who came a second time, in their replies on the Internet.)

Present Status and Identity of NCPCOG - wmscog

1. Church history posted on the NCPCOG’s website

After Christ Ahnsahnghong left this world in 1985, they established their churches in Ansan in 1986 and in Songpa in 2005 nearly two decades after. Now only five churches they established in 27 years after Father ascended. What does the fact that they established only five churches, to say nothing about preaching abroad, mean? It means that their church is dead.

At Jesus’ first coming, the early Church achieved amazing results of the gospel by establishing many churches in various places of Rome as well as in Judah in the blessing of the Holy Spirit which they received on the Pentecost after Jesus ascended into heaven.

At His second coming, our Church [World Mission Society Church of God] has also accomplished a great work of the gospel after Father left; we have established 2,200 Churches in about 150 countries of the world with the help of Mother’s endless love and sacrifice and the blessing of the Holy Spirit of latter rain.

Then, which church is the true church established by Father Ahnsahnghong and led by Him? Although we do not discuss other matters, the answer is clear. Father left 27 years ago, but they have not practiced the mission to lead God’s people from Babylon to Zion and to preach the gospel to all people of the world.

In the last book of Father, “The Bridegroom Was a Long Time in Coming, and They All Became Drowsy and Fell Asleep,” Father explained the reason why the bridegroom was a long time in coming as follows: “In this parable, the reason why the bridegroom was a long time in coming was to weed out evil servants and to give time to the virgins who just take their lamps without oil with them so that they can prepare oil.” They have only established five churches in 27 years. Can it be said that they have prepared their oil? Father said that oil is the faith inspired by the Holy Spirit, and the person who is moved by the Holy Spirit endeavors to preach and save souls. (Ref. Father’s sermon titled “Being Taken Hold of by Christ.”) Then what is their identity in those regards?

2. The reason the NCPCOG exists

It is no wonder that there exists the “NCPCOG” that denies the truth of Heavenly Mother.

In the time of the early Church, those who denied the fundamental teachings of Christianity appeared and hindered the gospel work; insisting that the resurrection had already taken place, they tried to destroy the saint’s hope for resurrection. So the Apostle Paul wrote that their teaching was like gangrene.

And there also appeared people who denied the absolute fact that Jesus came in the flesh, so the Apostle John emphasized that every spirit that does not acknowledge that Jesus came in the flesh is the spirit of the antichrist.

2 Ti 2:17-18 Their teaching will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, who have wandered away from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the faith of some.

1 Jn 4:2-3 This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

The Correct Understanding About the Court Ruling on the Allegation That the Church of God Spreads a Time-Limited Eschatology -wmscog

Slanderers tell a lie without hesitation that the Church of God spreads a time-limited eschatology. With impure intention to defame the Church of God, they propagate fabricated and exaggerated false evidence. Recently, an American has been confusing people by distorting a court ruling from South Korea – the case of “Northern Seoul District Court 2003Gahap6020 Damage Compensation.”

He insists that this court ruling is evidence that the Church of God spreads a time-limited eschatology. His argument is absurd and it is a lie. The explanation below will help you to easily understand how the ruling was distorted by someone without any knowledge of the story.

In order to understand correctly, first, we need to examine the criminal trial process – the first, second and third criminal trials. For reference, the case of “Northern Seoul District Court 2003Gahap6020 Damage Compensation” was a civil trial that was judged on the basis of a second criminal trial. We will explain it hoping that anyone who reads this will not be confused by the allegations against the Church of God.

1. The reason for which the court ruling on Tak, publisher of “Modern Time Religion Publishing Company,” was used as false evidence
The cause of the trial

The incident began when Tak, who is the publisher of The Modern Time Religion Publishing Company (“Hyundae Jongkyo” in Korean), published about 500 books in 2002 where he insisted that the Church of God spreads a time-limited eschatology.

At this, the Church of God filed a lawsuit against him on the charge of libel [defamation through publication], and he was indicted by the prosecution. In the first trial, he was found guilty of defamation through false information, but in the second and third appeals trial, he was found guilty of defamation for using false information. However, in the second and third appeals trials, he was found innocent. At that point in time, the court could not verify if the evidence provided was true or false and therefore suspended its judgment on whether or not his allegation was true.

Fountainhead of false rumors

Readers must pay attention to some peculiar points of the slanderers’ insistence.
First, the Internet slanderers do not mention the false evidence Tak submitted at all.
Second, the ruling saying the publisher was found innocent, to make a false conclusion that the Church of God spreads a time-limited eschatology.

Slanderers are proliferating every kind of unsubstantiated rumor on the Internet, exluding the two aforementioned points. For reference, Korean members of the Church of God do not waver in faith as a result of these rumors because they already know the truth of these trials. The slanders are crafty; they are spreading these lies to people in other countries, who do not know anything about what happened during these trials.

Their deeds remind us of the prophecy in the Bible.

1 Pe 5:8 Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

Mt 23:15 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as you are.”

2. In dubio pro reo

Let us examine the false evidence of the Modern Time Religion Company, which Internet slanderers do not mention at all
In the first trial, the publisher was found guilty of defamation by using false information, but in the second and third appeals trials, he was found innocent. The court was unable to conclude whether or not his argument was true. The ruling says, “There are some incorrect expressions and exaggerations, but it cannot be concluded that they are all false.”

In other words, the first trial concluded that it was definitely false, but the second and third trials found it difficult to conclude that it was definitely false.

Why was the ruling changed?

What kind of evidence did the Modern Time Religion Company submit to the court in the second trial that the court found it difficult to judge whether or not Tak’s allegation was true? Six informants submitted false evidence that the Church of God spreads a time-limited eschatology. This made it difficult for the court to judge whether the allegations were true or false in the second and third appeals trials. That is why the court declared Tak innocent according to the principle of presumption of innocence; a principle to judge for the benefit of the defendant when in doubt, which is called “In Dubio Pro Reo.”
“In dubio pro reo” (Latin for “when in doubt, for the accused”) is a dominant principle of the criminal procedure code which most countries of the world, including South Korea, have adopted.

Ref) Principle of Presumption of Innocence
The defendant or the accused in the criminal proceedings is considered innocent until proven guilty. In Anglo-American law, even if the accused is the real criminal, if there is no evidence, he or she is given the verdict of innocent. In the Continental law, “In Dubio Pro Reo (when in doubt, for the accused)” refers to this principle. Such principle is to protect the rights of the accused.

Let us see a precedent where this principle was applied.

The Case of O.J. Simpson in 1994: The former American football star O.J. Simpson was accused as a murder suspect, which was news that astounded the whole world. A glove stained with blood of the victim was found at Simpson’s house, and the scene of his racing 100km [60 miles] to avoid police officers who came to arrest him was broadcast live across the US. Though it seemed he was definitely guilty, his defense team, the “Dream Team,” brought forth the verdict of innocent after a fierce battle in the court for 372 days.
The defense team insisted that the glove did not fit Simpson, and also brought the fact that the criminal investigator was a racist into view. As well, a false witness appeared. Then the trial fell in a state of confusion. Ultimately, the jury found it difficult to decide whether or not he was guilty, so he was found innocent in the criminal trial.
Simpson’s case is a good example of the judgment on which the principle of “In Dubio Pro Reo” was reflected. At the time of his criminal trial, some evidence was confusing, so it was difficult for the judging panel to decide whether Simpson was guilty or innocent.
However, in the follow-up civil trial, the court acknowledged that Simpson inflicted serious damage on the victim, so he was ordered to pay 8,500,000 USD in damages and 25,000,000 USD in punitive damages to the bereaved family, and he ultimately went bankrupt.

The principle, “In Dubio Pro Reo,” functions differently according to the situation of a defendant.
If a defendant is in fact innocent, the principle plays the role of a shield that protects his or her human rights. On the contrary, if the defendant is actually guilty, all damage remains on the plaintiff.

In the world, there are people who try to cover their crimes, abusing the law.
Beyond what we see, how many hideous deeds are they doing to make false evidence?
The prevalence of such false testimonies in the courtroom people’s interest and such situations have even been made into movies, such as: The Devil’s Advocate (1997) directed by Taylor Hackford, A Few Good Men (1992) by Rob Reiner, The Rainmaker (1997) by Francis Ford Coppola, Primal Fear (1996) by Gregory Hoblit, In the Name of The Father (1993) by Jim Sheridan, The Firm (1993) by Sydney Pollack, A Time to Kill (1996) by Joel Schumacher, High Crimes (2002) by Carl Franklin, The Accused (1988) by Jonathan Kaplan, etc.

Many of you may have seen one or more of these movies. You are probably reminded of the suspenseful scenes when the false evidence and testimonies were considered true and the antagonist was almost victorious. Well, such a thriller occurred in reality. That was the ruling on Tak.

3. The reality of the false testimonies submitted to the court
The testimonies of six informants who supported Tak

The six informants suddenly appeared in the second trial and alleged that “the Church of God spreads a time-limited eschatology and instigated the members to spread it, which caused problems like family breakup, running away from home and divorce and so on.” Their testimonies were submitted to the court as the evidence of eschatology victims, and helped Tak to be found innocent. It was just because the principle of “In Dubio Pro Reo” was applied to the ruling.

The testimonies of the six informants were all fabricated false evidence

After the Supreme Court had handed down the verdict of innocent on Tak, there was the follow-up trial for each one of the six informants on April 14, 2006. The six informants, who had helped Tak to be found innocent, were accused by the Church of God because they claimed that they were the victims of the time-limited eschatology of the Church, and they were all indicted by the prosecution.

Most of them appealed to the Supreme Court, but they were all found guilty in the first, second and third trials.

Aren’t you curious about this part?

The six informants’ testimonies turned out to be false, then why was it that their testimonies were accepted in the Supreme Court and the principle “In Dubio Pro Reo” was applied to the judgment on Tak?
Tak was declared innocent during the third trial on April 14, 2006; but the six false informants were not declared guilty until seven months later in November 2006.

If the decision on the false informants had been made before April 14, 2006, Tak would most certainly have been proven guilty of defamation through publication.

The process of the trial on Tak and that of the six informants are as follows:
Tak was found guilty after the first trial on August 14, 2003, The second trial took place four months later on December 16, 2003. And the third trial took place on April 14, 2006. In total, it took three years and four months.
During this period of time, all the informants, who had helped Tak to be found “innocent” were accused and found guilty in the first and second trials. Jeon S.M. was found guilty in the first trial on September 3, 2004; and Kim O.J. was found guilty in the first trial on June 8, 2005.
Unfortunately, Tak’s verdict as innocent after the third Supreme Court trial occurred before these false informants were found guilty.
The decision on Tak in the third trial in 2006 was made without reflecting the fact that the informants’ testimonies were false.

4. What does the verdict of innocent on Tak mean?

As the slanderers insist on the Internet, does the verdict of innocent on Tak mean that the Church of God spreads a time-limited eschatology? Absolutely not!

The trial on Tak, the publisher of the Modern Time Religion Company

Some people say that since the book published by the Modern Time Religion Company, which alleged that “the Church of God spreads a time-limited eschatology,” was found innocent, it must be true that the Church of God spreads a time-limited eschatology. If we understand the principle of “In Dubio Pro Reo,” we can soon realize that they are wrong.
As we mentioned at the beginning, slanderers stretch the meaning of a certain part of the ruling without seeing the whole story.
The verdict on Tak in the third trial of the Supreme Court is not the decision acknowledging that the Church of God spreads a time-limited eschatology.

The follow-up judgment on the six informants

The six informants, who defamed the Church of God together with Tak, affected his trial; they succeeded in making a fact unclear as they had intended. But they were all found guilty in the follow-up trials, and ultimately their fabrication was exposed.
Since the trials deal with the same incident, the follow-up trial on the six informants is the most recent decision of the court.
Then, is the claim, “the Church of God spreads a time-limited eschatology,” true or false? It is false.
Using the court ruling, slanderers have insisted that “the court judged that the Church of God spreads a time-limited eschatology.” However, their defamatory remarks are not true and the court’s rulings are as follows:
 1. The court decided that it is false to allege that the Church of God spreads a time-limited eschatology
 2. The court decided that it is breaking the law to allege that the Church of God spreads a time-limited eschatology.

 A newspaper report

As the truth was revealed after all the trials on Tak, which took several years, and the six informants came to an end, the issue had a great resonance in the Christian world, and became a warning against denouncing other denominations as heresy through fabrication, and became headlines in the Christian Press.
In order to help the readers understand, we posted the original Korean newspaper and its English translation.

5. Fabrication to brand other denominations as heresy
Party interests

The fight for rights in the political arena is not a recent occurrence. From the passage of a bill to the policy-writing process, we often watch politicians strive for the benefit of their party. The confrontation among different political circles looks different from the outside depending on the country, but each party puts in a great effort to hold a prominent position in policy-making. Sadly and unfortunately, all sorts of trickery and corruption scandals are revealed in the process.

It is the same as Judaism 2,000 yeas ago. Judaism, which had the vested rights, spread malicious rumors to pin Christianity as a heresy and to persecute Christians. At that time, the high priest bribed Judas Iscariot, one of Jesus’ disciples. The high priest also slandered Jesus’ resurrection by spreading a false rumor that Jesus did not rise from the dead but that His disciples stole His body.  (Mt 26:14; Mt 28:11).

Modern Time Religion Company’s branding others as heresy; like father, like son

Modern Time Religion Company is Korea’s representative leading group that brands other denominations as heresy.
People in other countries may find it difficult to understand the words, “Branding other denominations as heresy,” but the denominations which are once targeted by the Modern Time Religion Company are classified as heresy. (What is funny is that it never reports the corruption of large churches that have vested rights, which are related with it.)
There are many things to say about the Modern Time Religion Company, but we will omit the long explanation. Besides this trial, the Modern Time Religion Company is famous for constantly making trouble in society. Even a gathering of Modern Time Religion Company victims was organized. [Gathering of Modern Time Religion Company Tak Ji-won Victims, HANARM]

Before the first trial, Tak the publisher of Modern Time Religion said at the time of cross-examination,
“I have never confirmed objective facts about the time-limited eschatology of the Church of God. I believed unconditionally what my father had said and put his allegation against the Church of God in my book.”
Tak himself said that he put the content in the book without objective and proven facts. Does it make sense that a publisher who runs a publishing company did so? What he did was something shameful as a Christian, and as a publisher.

Tak made an excuse that he posted that kind of content because he trusted his father. Then, who is his father?
His late father, who was also named Tak, was notorious for branding other denominations as heresy. His phone conversation with a certain Pastor Choi was once tapped and his fabrications and conspiracy were exposed and became headlines in many newspapers.

Pastor Choi’s conspiracy to brand others as heretics is exposed
Main conversation on the phone between Pastor Choi and Tak
Tape recorded conversation A

Choi: We should quickly make material to brand Park 00 as a heretic, and spread it among students in Jeolla Province. This meets the strategy. <Fabrication>
Tak: You mean Chongshin Theology School students?
Choi: I will conspire with Professor Yoo and spread the material among the students without putting up the professor in front, so that students will rise to protest against Park 00. <Conspiracy, Instigation>
Tak: We should do this strategically, not emotionally. Since we are to start with the Presbytery in Yeongdeungpo, if we say to elder Park 00 that we will present bills to the headquarters, he will post it as a major issue on the 00 bulletin. <Playing the media>
We should gather together quickly, (calling the Heresy Measures Committee).
Tak: Yes, yes! And I will mobilize the Holiness Church. That church also wants to decide … We will do first, and mobilize all the other churches. I need to be political …<Using ecclesiastical authority>
Choi: But it is very gloomy about the Habdong denomination. I’ve become the head inspector . . .

Tape recorded conversation B

Tak: I will ask elder Park 00 to post it in a large title on the 00 bulletin. <Conspiracy><Instigation>

Tape recorded conversation C

Choi: Do not talk much, but just say that he causes many troubles in society. What we are going to decide is that each Presbytery Heresy Measures Committee can inquire into the matter of heresy, and consult about it at any time through the headquarters heresy organ and to post it on the 00 bulletin. Let us call the head of each Presbytery Heresy Measures Committee to the head office and take measures together (using 00 bulletin). First of all, Joo the general affairs manager opened his closed mind to me, so he compliments and boasts about me wherever he goes. I will serve him well so that we can enter it through the 00 bulletin. <Collusion with ecclesiastical authority>

The information below is a summary of the article.. . .

15 years ago, there was a similar wiretap scandal. At that time, the office line and home phones of Tak Myung-hwan [father of the present publisher Tak] who was called a religious problem analyst were tapped for about six months. It recorded the conversation between Pastor Choi Sam-gyung and Tak Myung-hwan, who began in earnest to brand Park Yun-sik as a heretic by establishing an organization, “Research for Park Yun-sik’s Heresy”; and it also recorded the private life of Tak who was an editor of Modern Time Religion Company at that time. Their conversation gave a shock to the Christian world. When Tak criticized Park Yun-sik the pastor of the Daeseong Church as a heretic, there was no positive response in the Christian world. Then he began to conspire with Pastor Choi Sam-gyung, but their conversation was completely tapped and exposed to the world.. . .

The Modern Time Religion Company has habitually branded other denominations as heresy by fabricating evidencestarting from the Senior Tak. Do you, as readers, think that the materials fabricated by such people are trustworthy?
This is the source of unsubstantiated rumors and defamatory remarks on the Internet.

The Church of God does not spread a time-limited eschatology

The Bible clearly says that there will be the end of the age (Isaiah 24; Matthew 24).
So the Church of God is preaching the Passover of the new covenant, through which people can be saved from all disasters. By doing that, the Church of God is testifying about Christ’s love to all human beings (Rev 7:1-3).

Listen, all you slanderers! Stop comparing the Church of God with weird religious groups that cause trouble in society. The Church of God has never done any such evil deeds. Why do you belittle the Church of God and scare people by craftily making the evil deeds of cults look like those of the Church of God?

The Church of God received the orders of merit and citations from two Korean presidents, and received the President’s Call to Service Award and the President’s Volunteer Service Award from the US president by carrying out the role of the salt and light of the world according to the teachings of Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother. If you want to know more about the Church of God that contributes to society and nations, click the linksbelow.

It is definitely true that the Church of God has been doing good for the happiness of families, neighbors, nation and all humankind. However, slanderers hide all our good deeds and spread unsubstantiated rumors. The true judgment on these people who do evil will be done by the God of Justice soon (Rev 21:8).

Thank you for reading this lengthy article. We wrote this hoping no one will be a victim of the malicious rumor of a time-limited eschatology. If you would like to know more about this in detail, please e-mail us at.

WORLD MISSION SOCIETY CHURCH OF GOD - "Saving Lives"

World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) is love.
RIVERSIDE ZION BLOOD DRIVE: 3/22/2012  THURSDAY 5:00PM-8:30PM

LIFESTREAM Riverside donor center

4006 Van Buren blvd Riverside, CA 92503

While preparing the Passover 2012, the Church of God caries out the annual blood drive to give life through the love of the Passover. The words "love your neighbor as yourself" are fulfilled when we donate blood to the neighbors of our communities. This blood drive that is carried out through out the whole world will also be coming to California. The American red cross has agreed to be the churches source for blood donations. And we encourage all media and government officials to come cover the event and to donate blood for those who are in need.

Church information:

The Church of God believes that Christ Ahnsahnghong is God in the age of the Holy Spirit because he restored the Passover of the new covenant, which was abolished at the council of nicea in 325 a.d after Jesus ascended. The Church of God says that it is the only church in the world which keeps the Passover of the new covenant, following the regulations of the bible on the correct day. This year the Passover falls on April 5th.

Church of God (WMSCOG) Hosts Blood Drive on March 25 in D.C.

WMSCOG hosts blood drive!

The World Mission Society Church of God (General Pastor Joo-Cheol Kim) carries out the “Worldwide Blood Drive to Give Life Through the Love of the Passover 2012” in Korea and every country of the world to save patients who are in critical condition due to blood shortage.

In Korea, the blood drive will be carried out in order throughout the country. In the case of overseas churches, about 2,200 Churches of God in 170 countries in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Oceania and Africa where the Church of God is established, will perform it. The Church said, “It will continue until April 5th on which the 2012 Passover Assembly is held.”

In the case of the Unites States, the blood drive is being held in the Nation’s Capitol of Washington, D.C. at the Eastern Market North Hall with Inova Blood Donor Services on March 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. In this blood drive, the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia communities are invited to take action and stand united donating blood under the organization of their choice competing to raise most blood. In addition, the Church of God will display its history and accomplishments in Washington, D.C. to the public during this event with musical performances and smiles on every face.

The worldwide blood drive of the Church of God will give great help to the patients suffering from incurable diseases such as leukemia or cancer, and the patients who need urgent blood transfusion due to sudden accident. Additionally, they will contribute greatly to expanding the base of blood donation by destroying negative view on blood donation.

The Passover of the new covenant, which the Church regards as important, is the day when Jesus Christ promised the forgiveness of sins and eternal life to those who have bread and wine representing His flesh and blood; Jesus established this new covenant on the night before He was crucified 2,000 years ago.
